Okey, finally here! Morten and I (Henrik) arrived Chamonix on Friday after a long non stop car-drive. The ride down was more like boarder-cross on the highways, with snowstorm from Denmark to Switzerland. But we dodged all the sliding trucks and came safe down here to try the first dump and opening of Grand Montets yesterday. I guess it was about 50 cm. fresh sno, and barely no sole underneath.. We were fairly early in the lift and got some nice turns in the goodies! I wont keep it a secret that we had to look out for sharks every turn, but it still was a lot of fun!! Today the snow was all chopped up so we did some high-speed bully riding in the slope and had an avalanche practice at the end of the day;) Sweet to be on snow again!
It seems like it is getting warmer and maybe som rain the next days, but hopefully were going for some climbing soon.. Stay tuned!
